Melissa Wakefield is a visual artist who received her B.F.A. from York University. Her work has been shown here and there in the Barrie area and Toronto.

Mainly interested in colour and line work, Melissa has explored a number of styles and subject manner. Her current work is a collection of still lifes which are rich in colour and personal history. They are everyday objects seen in a different light. Melissa is currently living in Barrie.
